My early life was not memorable in a good way for the most part. I don’t think about it very often. It was long ago and far away. In the last week on Facebook, classmates from k-12 have come out of the woodwork; I think in an attempt to revisit a class reunion, which we haven’t had since year 15. This all blasted me back into the past. It feels weird. We can’t go back. I was a little apprehensive at first. Where was this all going anyway?

The surprising, and fun thing about it has been that what I remember is all fun and good! Cheerleading with Mary, tap dancing with Laurie; childhood crushes on Curt and Kim, oh so many, many laughs with so many of these people. Great moments. Great times. For sure. How had I forgotten them?

So possibly time heals all things. And possibly when the wheat is separated from the shaft it’s ALL good stuff. Because it’s made us who we are and without every single moment (good, bad, and indifferent), our lives wouldn’t be as rich as they are in every way. Thank you, Class of ’73! Love you all.
